Started in 2022, ROSSaCONN was born during the pandemic. Having played together before in other groups (Frequalizer, Wa'de), Rachman, Stephan, and Eric decided to create a stripped down instrumental trio that would allow them to follow their muse. Drawing on shared experiences playing in Funk, Afrobeat, Reggae, Highlife, Soukous, Rock and roll bands, and more, they decided to blend all these together into their own stew. Creating primarily original music written for the current times, the theme was anything goes as long as it has a good rhythm and is danceable. They are constantly striving and growing, adding new songs and arrangements as the inspiration hits.
They have also been very fortunate to collaborate with a range of incredible musicians during this time, including Abstract Rude, Rocker T, Saeed Abbas, Nathaniel Talbot, Gideon Freudmann, Othnell Mangoma, and many more!
